Shobhit University (Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology) was established at Meerut, Delhi NCR, India by NICE Society (established 1989) in 2006 and is accredited by National Accreditation & Assessment Council (NAAC) of India. It was established by the Indian Government's Notification No. F-9-37/2004-U.3 (A) dated 8 November 2006 under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 at Meerut, Delhi NCR. Shobhit University is a research-intensive university that shares the values of high-quality teaching within an environment of internationally competitive research.
